'Lei Anuenue" from the 'Love-Lei' Collection (meant to be a play on lovely) 🌺Roughly an 11x14 mixed media on watercolor paper in a beach wood locally made 16x20 frame. Depths of texture and lei love. These paintings are abstract and layered with love and Aloha. Hand signed with the certificate of authenticity included. The frame has plexiglass making it easy to ship, I would highly suggest replacing it with UV protective glass at your local frame shop. 

This body of work beautifully captures the current beautiful chaos of life right now. Grief, motherhood, the unexpected changes that come of nowhere when you enter your 40s (who can relate to this one 😅), running a business, the world in general, a million little things and the absolute joy that is found in the day to day life through it all. I had no plans for the studio this year, but once I sat down and started this collection it just flowed out of me, like it was meant to be, and I ended up with over 30 paintings. They’re full of color, movement and texture. I love that part of being an artist, it’s like my heart and hands know what’s there before I even know it.
