Meet my latest original, Hulali.
Based on a picture from a friend, I love how the vibrant, thick rainbow looked reaching down to connect with the Earth. Fluffy white clouds contrasting against the pink glowing sky, ocean, mountains, all the beautiful things of Hawaii. It took me some time to find the right name, but after doing some research, I learned of the world “Hulali.” In Hawaiian Hulali loosely translates to, to shine, sparkle, glitter, or reflect light. It is often used to describe the poetic dance of sunlight on the ocean or a shimmering reflection on the water. It felt like the perfect fit. I hope you can feel the beauty and hawaiian breeze through the paint strokes.
