Looking Up is painted from a picture I took while driving on the H-1 in January. I saw the most unique rainbow coming down through a cloud, I had never seen a rainbow like that before! I especially loved the contrast of it with the crispy blue sky and the streetlights and buildings that were jetting by. I took some artistic liberties with this one and decided to continue the rainbow up and away into the sky. The clouds are full of color and movement in a very unique way. I also worked in some oil pastel.
